CAMPING / DROP OFF POLICIES (v2)
(As of May 1, 2010)
In effort to provide better facilities and amenities to our customers, the Camping / Drop-Off Policies have been updated. Please review the following procedures and take note of the RV camping rates that will come into effect beginning June 1, 2010. We thank you for your cooperation and look forward to serving you during your stay at TWS.
As a service to the participants (*), Trailer/Car Drop-Off and overnight camping (RVs, tents and camping trailers) is generally allowed at most club racing and performance driving events at TWS. If allowed, the following policies will apply;
Trailer/ Car Drop-Off (not including RV’s or camper trailers):
The night prior to each event (between 6:00 p.m. - 10:00 p.m.) participants may drop-off cars and trailers that will be used in the event. A $15 drop-off fee per trailer/vehicle applies and will be collected at the gate prior to entry.
Camping (overnight stay):
General Camping Policies: Quiet Hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Please be courteous at all times, especially during Quiet Hours (for example, by not playing loud music, making excessive noise, revving of engines or running external generators). Track access is prohibited. Guests are to camp in designated areas only (if applicable) and are to comply with all TWS Rules & Regulations. While on the property, please note TWS is not responsible and the participant assumes the entire risk for any loss, theft or damage.
All camping other than RV and camper trailers: For the event (regardless of day of entry), a $10 per person camping fee applies and will be collected at the gate prior to entry.
RV and camping trailers (effective June 1, 2010): For the event (regardless of day of entry), a $30 per vehicle fee applies and will be collected at the gate prior to entry. An event specific RV Parking Pass will be given and is to be displayed in the driver's side window at all times.
Electrical Hookup access is available on a first-come first-serve basis; consequently, not all participants are guaranteed this service. A $15 per day fee applies to any non-day garage (**) participants, vendors, RVs and campers. It is the participant’s responsibility upon arrival in the paddock to locate an appropriate plug, to pay for this service in the PX and obtain an Electrical Hookup Pass. Multiple plugs into an electrical plug are prohibited and lying of a power cord across drive lanes is generally prohibited.
These policies are subject to change at anytime, with or without notice.
In the future, we look forward to offering RV camping grounds onsite for TWS customers to provide a more satisfactory stay while at TWS. For any questions, please give us a call at (979) 690-2500.
(*) Other than the Electrical Hookup Fee, all other Camping / Drop Off fees do not apply to critical staff of the event organizer that are listed on the event organizer’s wait list (which is to provided to TWS two days prior to the respective event).
(**) Electrical usage and outlets originating in a day garage is for the exclusive use of the renting participant of such day garage.
